KBNU, Uvalde and KBLT, Leakey is broadcasting Classic Country music, now known as the KB Radio Ranch, (not a cow or goat ranch, but radio ranch.) Research shows that Country Music is the most listened to radio format in Texas and certainly in Uvalde and surrounding Counties.

The KB Radio Ranch format targets the early to middle-age listener who has memories of the Classic Country music with a strong dance beat. This is the target listener who is more financially affluent than younger target groups.

The KB Radio Ranch is providing a “more music” format for those listeners who like le ss talk and more music. Our goal is to provide individualized commercial announcements that “stand alone” rather than be mixed with a lot of non-music program material.

The KB Radio Ranch is proud of its technical facilities with the largest combined coverage of any station between San Antonio and Del Rio, which include coverage in Uvalde, Medina, Real, Kinney, and Zavala Counties.

KBNU 93.9 FM, Uvalde broadcasts with 25,000 Watts, the maximum for Class-C3 FM station. KBLT 104.3 FM, Leakey broadcasts with 1, 000 Watts over-height; which is maximum facilities for a Class-A FM station.
